1 more day till the ending of CNY, i still wan more gathering!

Actually, i have decided to transform my blog into topic form, meaning not update of my life, cuz i think fb will give a more instant update!

Yesterday, i invited my secondary sch friends to my house for CNY celebration+ overnight drinking!

It was really fun and tiring,eps the packing up after they all left!

But for them i don mind doing it, in fact i find joy in it.

the reason being they worth for me to 麻烦！

i believe all of you have friends that you always hang out, sometimes when you run out of palce to go, some will suggest

"eh let's go who who house lei, den we can what what, it's gonna be damn fun!!!"

I can tell you 80% will agree with going others' house but not their house.

The reason being it is too 麻烦!

I would say it is la...you have to prepare this and that but to think, if you really put in effort and really have the heart for your friends to have a enjoyable night den it is ok!

For me, i belong to the kind, if time permit i would invite my friends over, i have different experience of inviting friends over.

and ya some was why did i even ask them to come?

some will be oh ya next time we can do this n this to make it more fun!

They really want you to serve them,like they are checking in to some hotel or what.

They know what to do when coming to friends house, very good up-bringing by parent.

hey i am back again..cuz i just thought that the previous post was too short! hehe And yes i should do a post on how grateful am i ,when 北京大学 accepted me!! N the bonus thing is they offered me scholarship! (5 out of 11 ,and i was one of the lucky 5!) So maybe i should describe the whole torturing process of waiting! A level result Day Mood: Emo but still strong I was so dissappointed with my result, i can easily say i got shit result. At that point of time, i did not feel like crying cuz it wasn't bad enough to cry,but bad enough for me in not getting into local uni. Stoned n ponder, i decided that i should just do what i can do now and wait for Peking Uni's reply. Back in Camp Mood: Sian I kinda put aside my result and managed to focus in the training. Up till now, i am still very impressed by myself. There is no word to describe how shit was the training... Mood:Happy Cuz i received a sms from my teacher that Peking Uni accepted me! I was like "WOW" BUT BUT they required a photocopy of my A lvl result, so at that point of time i was worried they might reject me due to my shitty result.. so i just wait.... Mood: anxious! After a few days, i decided to call Pan laoshi.He asked me not worried about the sending of result part, cus u are already accepted no matter wht, but they just want to use the result to determine who to offer the scholarship! He add on that my result is relatively bad compared with the rest,so dont pin too much hope in getting the scholarship. i was like yes, i am very lucky already. Mood: I am in heaven!!! WTH LA,they already offered me scholarship.. (the rest of the post pls imagine with your heart n mind) :)

Alright this post is just some random post, but not totally random.
I wish to blog about how friends actually keep in contact after they graduated.

In school, we are in the same class so we simple hang out everyday.
But once the holiday are here or even when we graduated, there is no chance we will meet,
unless we meet up.

So yea? Meet up..what kind of meet up?
The meet up can be due to same interest..
like both of them wanna catch a movie, they will meet up
play a kind of sport, they will meet up.
like to play a certain game, they will meet up
like to visit museum,they will meet up.
the most common one will be dinner(cuz practically everyone eats)

What if you guys are friends, and wish to stay in contact after you graduated.
BUT do not have common interest?

HOW?
HOW?
HOW?

Don meet up arh? Cancel this friend arh?

HAHA...either one will have to learn to take the interest of the other friends
(or the majority of friends )
To illustrate..for example.
FriendA nv plays tennis, but his group of friends enjoy the game.
Thus FriendA try to takes up the game, in order to stay in contact with his friends.

Alright..this solution seems perfect right?

Nah..It is only perfect, if FriendA realised he/she loves tennis.
What if he/she don really like it?
But still wants to stay in contact with his friends?

If he/she still continue tennis, it will be going against her will right?
And when this happen, FriendA's grp of friends should try to take up her interest.
For example, friendA enjoy visiting the museum.His/her friend should try visiting museum with her right?

only then, they can still keep in contact in a natural way.

In short..it is just about give and take..
No one should demand others to take up their own interest, but they can always try.
cuz there is no one single interest that one person should deem to take up.
everyone enjoy different things in their life.

To all my reader:If you are one of those that always wants your friends to follow your way, i think it is time to follow their way,at least for once.
If you realise, you are always going out for interest that u don really enjoy, maybe it is time to voice out your opinion.
Only then your friendship can last!

Home steamboat with family and a treat at Joycelyn's house with Jh,Lm n Sw.

I will be entering Army and getting my A lvl result,which i wan it to be good!

i don feel like doing new year resolution,cuz from my past year experience..

You know happy seems simple, but there will be times when u don realised u are actually unhappy.this is wht i learnt this year! and wht my face condition tells me!

i spent my last few days @chongqing. Sm 哥哥 brought me to experience their night life on the second last night! It was so different from singapore club!No entry fee needed! haha

omg la!!! i am so thankful towards my 祖先！
Cuz i nearly lost my HTC just now!
I left it in the carpark for more than 2 hours and the car was parked right beside the entrance!
When i was taking the lift down, i was crossing my finger that no one hear the phone ringing and i can still find it.If not whatever fun things gonna happen, will be so anti-climax!

WHAT THE FLEA!!!

Having a flea market stall is damn tiring lar! haha
you have to handle all kind of people and the hot weather!

But yea i thought it was quite successful,at least we did cover our cost and made some profit.

i thought the type of passage was very WEIRD!

i must say today the weather is 莫名其妙！！！！
i was on my way home, the weather outside is hot and sunny!
really sunny until your mum will say is a good day to hang clothes out..

Den after a few minutes...it started to rain...LIKE heavily...
so WTH?

wet when i reach home, took a bath then.
after coming out...the weather is hot and sunny AGAIN!

Anw... happy that i did not take a nap and force myself to study...

Hey.. just attended zheng xuan's funeral with xin rong, yu ting and luo min..

It wasn't those tradition kind of chinese funeral, but christian or Catholic style(not too sure)
thus the atmosphere was not that sad, but normal.
As they see it as a celebration of him meeting the God.

Many of his friends came over to talk to us.
And they showed a video of him, i really can't help it when i saw photos of him celebrating birthday year by year..
And when we pay our last visit, i prayed for his family and friends.

Though, we are only his senior, it is still sad to see this kind of thing happening to a young life..(too young..)

this is hard and sudden..

i thought he could make it through!

i guess most of you have heard the news.
My cca junior was knock down by a car and died after 6 days of struggle..

At 1st, i didn't know it was him..
after flipping the year book, i realise he is my strategic game club member..
Directly under me, as i was the Head of Public relation!

Though i am not close to him, but he is still my junior!
A junior that i taught before.
Telling him tips for making announcements.

I really hope that he is fine up there....

can't really imagine how i will react, if it really happens..

i was watching this new programme in Channel 8, Life navigator, 从心开始.

Episode 3 is about this lady's unfortunate life story.

Her family background: She is the 3rd child and got 5 siblings.
She feels that her father is biased against her,thus having an unhappy childhood.

Her story:
When she was 7,she was raped by her elder brother's friends(2 of them).
Her dad chased her out of the house when she was 13, she then stayed in the park.
During the period of staying in the park, she was raped by a 20 something stranger.
The stranger apologised to her after raping her.
Until 18, without a proper education, she wanted to find a job.
thus she went to approach her father.
Her father actually drugged her and let his friend to rape her.
As a method of paying his debt!

Up till here, i really feel that this lady is very strong.
Her father and brother should to kill themselves!
for god sake, don they have any moral values?
Why would anyone do this to your family member?

Her story serve as a reminder for me.
reminding me to cherish my life now and help whenever i can.

26th of March. 《我们的白云岗2010》

It was great, i must say!
I thought everything went really well!
So proud of my juniors!

As i am still a student in NY, i would often pop into their rehearsal.
haha! Being grand advisor lei, :P

I still remember shuang yu asking if i am helping out BYG in year.
I rejected her.. not being mean, but i thought 2010 is their year to shine!
Being their senior, i should not snatch the limelight(though i enjoy doing it!haha)
i feel that with me, the production will not belong to them!

So the most i did was to advice! haha
Also selling tickets!
Wahseh, FULL HOUSE lei, plus 40 plus "chop"ticket.
as last week was the holiday, imagine how efficient they are to sell!

This year play was interesting and contemporary.
It was creative to let crop crew to be mouse!
Also the 洗黑钱 part!
The junior playing as mouse was great!

It was great to see my fellow ex-nyjcians,
missed our chatting session and many many things.
guanyi, liying, poo, Houpeiyu, ming hui, yanyou, geraldine,yaoqing, susan, zhou hao.

1st time being an audience was great!
I was so high during 谢幕, singing our 会歌！

Afterthat, we went chomp chomp to eat with our senior..
chomp chomp is very small!
afterthan the rest came to join us.
we thought only maybe joycelyn and a few coming..
but the whole j2 exco and some j1 came.
LIKE many! haha

But it was a pity that i can't help to write the news report for this year BYG
Due to some communication problem teachers...

i always wanted to blog about this..

after talking to si ming about friend, i thought i can have a clearer view about it.

haha

ok the story goes like this...

si ming's thinking: friends must always go out so as to get close and stay close.
(go out as in not only meet in sch, but sat n sun also can meet)

my thinking: friends will get close if we have the affinity to be close.
We don need to always go out to stay close, we can be close using other method.

yes.. so i don really go out with classmate on sat n sun.
firstly i need those 2 days for revison.
also i see a need to givesat n sun for my sec sch friend and not my current classmate,
cuz we are already seeing each other from mon to fri!

As for me.. i don really think friend will get distance if we don meet every week.
cuz there will always be a outing soon.

for my case, mostly of my sec sch friend went poly. our timetable is totally different.
but this does not mean i don go out with them anymore.
in fact we always try out best to find a common slot, and look forward to the outing.
And yes, we are still close(i don deny we might distance a bit, but it can't be help)

but at least now. 2 years n 3months ever since sec 4, i am still close and in contact with my sec sch friend. i am contented enough.

lastly, i would to thank this friend that i am very grateful to.
She is careen.
my PAE friend. we eventually got closer but didn't get into the same class or cca.
but amazingly we are close till now.
i don feel weird calling her to chat or tell her my problem.
she will always listen to my troubles.

the thing is we never went out before to shop , eat or watch movie.
Also, she was the only 1 that sms me good luck on the 1st day of sch this year.
Knowing that i might not adapt to the brand new of people in NY.

p.s: lastly, friends come and go,
what's important is that real friends come back to you in times of trouble.

Yea.. finally have some time to blog..
actually i have the time.. but yea.. don feel like it..

Fri.. nyjc had their release of A's result..
This is my 3rd year going to the hall to view..
every year i have diff feeling about it..
always hoping that it would inspire me to do better..
but yea the effect don last long..

But this year is diff man..
cuz my close friends and classmates were the one getting it.
in my heart.. i desperately hope that they will do.
Cuz i can really imagine the feeling of being left out by the world, if your result don make it.

so yea.. mostly hugging here n there, a bit of passing tissue around..
I don think Ny did well this year.. our percentage is lower than N aver!
No wonder.. mr quek choose to disclose it.

I am happy that Li Ying, susan and puey leng did well!

在片尾时，我又落泪了。

看了十集的真人真事，我真的认为人生有太多无奈。

而这些无奈常常让人措手不及。。

我常在想，当一个人在享受时，会不会想到别人所受的痛苦呢？

我自己是不会，因为并没有什么意义。

在路上看到身体上有缺陷的人，我都会在心里默默为他们祈祷。

希望上帝会对他们好一点。

很傻吧？这个傻习惯我从6年级就开始了。

所以我从不认同，甚至厌恶那些批评受苦的人的人。（有点不顺）

他们不曾体验过片中人的生活，凭什么批评他们？

反正，现在“乱”字当道，说什么都没用。

我只要轻微地喜欢我现在的生活，应该都不会太过分。

alright i will give you 10 reasons why i am so happy today!

Today NYJC had it's CNY celebration.
It was FUN!!
esp the 舞狮 part..opening performance..
Cuz we usually have the lion climbing den opening the new year hanging poem.
the guy was really risking his life!
He climbed with his lion head, without any safety precaution!
He might just fall or wht..
But he succeed!

Next we have the chinese new year guru？（like don forget the lyric in chinese new year song)
I was the 1st to volunteer lar!
but i once i was up on stage, i regretted! haha
i was like why did i come up?

BUT　hey! i got the 1st ok!
As i was the 1st to run up, i got the choose the song 1st..
And i got 20 dollar BEN &JERRYS voucher! haha

yea... as chinese new year falls on the same day with Valentine day.
Today was also the gift exchange day.
Me and Siming decided to give something to our class!
So yea.. we gave chocolate and folded rose!
Wah seh... i took damn long to fold them lar!
but yea.. i think it was quite worth it afterall.
cuz the girls was touched n surprise!
